Situated on a natural hillock with good views of undulating countryside. No surface remains visible. Site depicted as a circular enclosure on 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map but not depicted on revised 1912 ed. OS 6-inch map. Annotated 'Fort' on the 1837 ed. OS Fair Plan map. Curve in E field boundary may follow line of E side of enclosure that is depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map.
