The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on top of a small but prominent round-topped natural hillock surrounded by hilly and gently undulating land with excellent views to the S and SW. Ringfort (WM001-046----) 380m to N, two ringforts (WM003-017----; WM003-018----) 300m to SSE, ringfort (WM003-016----) 360m to SW. No surface remains visible of levelled ringfort possible. Depicted as a circular enclosure on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. On the revised 1911 ed. OS 25-inch map the ringfort is depicted with a disused quarry cutting across the SW quadrant of the monument. This quarry is not depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. The cropmark of this filled in quarry is visible on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011.
