The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on flat reclaimed grassland with Coves Brook marking townland boundary with Carnew immediately to N and NE. Enclosure (WI047-013----) 70m to NNW. The village of Carnew lies 600m to NE. Outline of circular-shaped enclosure (approx. int. diam. 49m N-S) defined by a fosse which is clearly visible on Digital Globe aerial photograph. The monument is located on wet grassland that has been reclaimed with linear drainage channels clearly visible intersecting the enclosure at NW and SE.
