The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle S/SE-facing slope in poorly drained terrain. Roughly oval enclosure (diam. c. 20m) with a raised interior (H c. 0.3m above ground level) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; H c. 1.3m). No indication of an entrance or fosse. The site is very overgrown.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
