The National Monuments Service's description
Situated towards the NW end of a ridge with gentle slopes to the W, N and E. A rectangular structure (int. dims. 14m E-W; 6.65m N-S) defined by roughly coursed rubble walls (T 0.75m). The door was probably at the W end, which is poorly preserved. There is a small round-arched window in the E gable and there are wall niches towards the E end of the N and S walls. The church is divided by a modern cross-wall which has a gate at its N end. A roughly square granite font with rounded edges lies broken in three pieces in the E end of the church. The graveyard is within a rectangular enclosure (dims. 70m E-W; 40m N-S) defined by a modern wall with an entrance along a laneway at the SE.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
