The National Monuments Service's description
A cist (L 0.35m; Wth 0.32m; Int. H 0.35m), discovered in 1984 in the garden of a dwelling, contained the cremated remains of a young adult male, accompanied by three chert flakes. (NMI 1985: 14-14a; Cahill and Sikora 2011, Vol. 1, 666)
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
