The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a gentle S/SE-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 27m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3m; H 0.6-1.5m), about two thirds of which survives to the E of a NW-SE field boundary which traverses the site. There is no trace of the ringfort to the W of the boundary. There are two gaps, at the NW (Wth 2m) and SE (Wth 1.5m), at the junction with the boundary. No indication of an external fosse or internal features.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
