The National Monuments Service's description
Situated towards the SE edge of a slight ridge. Within a large oval graveyard (WI042-013002-) which may have been an ecclesiastical enclosure (WI042-013003-). In 1990 a possible cross-shaft with rectangular section and a boss or tenon at the top was noted at the SE beside a gateway onto the public road. . A field inspection in 2012 could not locate the cross-shaft which may have been covered, bcome overgrown or have been moved. A granite cross-head (WI042-012----) lies c. 160m to the NW. Also within the enclosure there is a church (WI042-013001-) and a font (WI042-013004-) had been noted, the latter is unlocated.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
