The National Monuments Service's description

On a steep sided natural sand knoll 20m high on the N and 10m on the S side. The summit of the knoll, which is c. 100m in diameter is flat and c. 20m wide. The N and W quadrants of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) are marked on the 1st ed. 6-inch OS map on the summit. As indicated on the OS map, the S portion of the monument appears to have been incorporated in a field boundary which runs NE-SW along the S side. The monument is not visible at ground level.
