The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, S of Ballinapark House located 40m to N. A cluster of three possible ring-barrows (WI040-063-/065----) located in field to S of Ballinapark House which are clearly visible on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13. Remains consist of a circular-shaped area (approx. diam. 11m) enclosed by a fosse and slight traces of an external bank. Possible barrow (WI040-064----) 8m to W and second barrow (WI040-065----) 15m to SW. These earthworks are clearly visible on Google earth orthoimages taken 30/09/2009. The sharpness and circularity of these cropmarks along with their close proximity to Ballinapark House may suggest that they could be designed landscape features or some other activity in the post-1700 period. It is possible that they may have formed by circular-shaped livestock ring-feeders although this is uncertain. The antiquity of these earthworks remains uncertain.
