The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on gentle N-facing slope with steep valley of the Aughrim River to the NE. Bride's Well (WI040-011001-) c. 150m to the NW. Cropmark of levelled ringfort (WI040-031---) in field to S. Decorated stone discovered in 2010 (Corlett 2013, 13) standing in SW quadrant of Ballintemple graveyard (WI040-011003-) and SW of the levelled medieval church site (WI040-011002). The D-shaped graveyard may preserve the line of an Early Christian ecclesiastical enclosure (WI040-011004-). Graveyard may have been used as a children's burial ground (WI040-011005-).
Site not currently accessible due to dense cover of vegetation inside graveyard, previously described by Dr. Clíodhna Ní Lionáin of the UCD Wicklow Rock Art project as a thin, sub-rectangular shaped slab (dims. L 1.05m x Wth 0.6m x T 0.11m) which may not be in its original location. The stone is decorated with 8 circular cupmarks (diam. 3cm-9cm), 5 linear grooves or oblong-shaped cupmarks, and an unusual larger motif, which appears almost like a footprint (www.wicklowrockartproject.com).
