The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on level ground on the summit of a small NE-SW ridge. A rectangular church (max. dims. 16m E-W; 7.15m N-S) with an apsidal chamber at the E end in which there is a single narrow, round-headed window. There are three similar evenly spaced windows in the N and S walls, and a door at the W end. The church contains some 18th-century headstones and is at the W side of a rectangular graveyard (dims. 40m x 30m) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; H 0.2-1.6m) with an external facing of drystone walling and an external fosse (Wth 1.8m; D 0.5m). A motte (WI039-016----) occurs 150m to the NE.
