The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in a S-facing valley at a break in a marked S-facing slope. Oval enclosure (dims. 33m N-S; 25m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.75m; max. H 1.2m) which is in part reconstructed. In places loose stone are used to form a rough wall.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
