Unlocated holy well within the townland of Tinahely. According to Lynch (1994, 639) there is a holy well known as ‘St Patrick’s Well’ in the townland of Tinahely that is mentioned in the 1930s Irish Folklore Commission, Schools Manuscript Collection (IFC S 920: 6). The folklore manuscripts recorded the tradition that ‘it was believed that St Patrick drank from this well. The informant gives an account of the water from the well being used to prevent accidents’ (Lynch 1994, 639).
