The National Monuments Service's description
This is the record for the burnt mound in Area C excavated by Yvonne Whitty (E3227) on the N11 road improvement scheme. A trough was sealed by the burnt mound and there was an associated pit which may have been used as a dump for burnt mound material. (Whitty 2009g)
