The National Monuments Service's description

This is the record for the pits excavated by Red Tobin (E3235) on the N11 road improvement scheme. The pits were morphologically similar and possibly connedted with settlement in the area. Three sherds of Beaker pottery associated with the pits date them to then late Neolithic/early Bronze Age period. (Tobin 2009b)
