The National Monuments Service's description

A very extensive scatter of flint artifacts covering several fields on Mizen Head overlooking Brittas Bay, including artifacts which may range in age from the Later Mesolithic to the Bronze Age. Found during fieldwalking in 1983. Ploughed-out fulacht fiadh (WI036-028----) in the vicinity. (Mitchell 1990, 47; Information Prof. P. Woodman; Stout 1994, 5)
