The National Monuments Service's description
On a relatively steep W facing slope of Cronebane with dramatic views to the W, including Croghanmoira, and Glenmalure. A short quartz pillar (H 1m) with long axis oriented roughly N-S. The width and thickness of the stone are irregular (Wth 34-60cm; T 25-36cm).
