The National Monuments Service's description
Unlocated holy well within the townland of Bahana. According to Lynch (1994, 639) there is a holy well in the townland of Bahana that is mentioned in the 1930s Irish Folklore Commission, Schools Manuscript Collection ( IFC S 921: 24-25). The folklore manuscripts recorded the tradition that the well was ‘said to have curative properties’ (Lynch 1994, 639).
