The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a gentle W-facing slope overlooking a stream (100m to W) on the edge of a pasture field. A nave and chancel church, built of roughly coursed rubble. The chancel (int. dims. c. 3m N-S; c. 5.4m E-W) has well-defined walls. The junction with the less well-preserved nave (int. dims. c. 4m N-S; 8.25m E-W) is obscure but the two portions of the church appear eccentrically aligned. The nave walls are defined by a loose pile of rubble (Wth 1.4-1.8m; av. H 0.3m) and portions of the inner and outer wall facings survive in situ (wall T c. 1.5m). There is no indication of a door or windows. The church is at the E end of an approximately square graveyard enclosure (dims. 52m E-W; 50m N-S) defined on the E and S sides by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2-3.4m; H 0.8-1.2m) with internal drystone walling at the E. At the W the enclosure is defined by a low scarp with a basal revetment of small boulders surviving in patches, while at the N there is a steep scarp flanked by a sunken lane (Wth c. 5m). The E side of the graveyard is reasonably level but it drops away to the W immediately beyond the church.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
