The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle S-facing slope. Oval enclosure (dims. 44m ESE-WNW; 29m NNE-SSW) defined at the N by an earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; H 1.2-1.5m) and elsewhere by a steep scarp. There is an external fosse (Wth 4m; D 0.6-1.2m) at the N. A farm track cuts across the SE portion of the site. No indication of an entrance or internal features.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
