The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle SE-facing slope overlooking the valley of a small stream. Circular enclosure (diam. 45m) defined by an earthen and stone bank (Wth 1.6-1.8m; H 1.3-1.8m) with an entrance through a stone-lined and partly cobbled passage leading from the road at the NE. Among the headstones of the 18th and 19th century are two small granite slabs, one in the form of a crude cross, the other with a rounded protrusion on top.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
