The National Monuments Service's description
This is the record for the three corn-drying kilns and associated pits excavated by Goorik Dehaene (E3256) on the N11 road improvement scheme. Many phases of use were evident in the figure-of-eight-shaped kilns. The pits were located around the kilns and comprised regular circular cuts with flat bases. They have been interpreted as storage pits associated with the kiln activity. (Dehaene 2009v)
