The National Monuments Service's description
Two burnt mounds, five troughs (one of which was wood lined) and at least four hearths were excavated here in 2006 in advance of the construction of the landfill (Excavation Licence 06E0552 (area 4)). Finds included c. 180 lithics and 19 sherds of prehistoric pottery. Radiocarbon dates of 2290–2030 BC, 2210–2020 BC and 1980–1760 BC were obtained from the site. (Frazer 2009, 571)
