The National Monuments Service's description

Circular mound of earth and stone with possible cist (L. 2.40m) in centre (Price 1934, 40). Monument was formerly covered in forest. Trees were removed post-2004. Monument is in relatively good condition and its form is in accordance with that recorded by Price. Faint traces of a shallow external fosse surround the mound.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
