The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a gentle E-facing slope on the lower SE slopes of Baltinglass Hill. A circular enclosure (ext. diam. 53m) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.6–3.4m; H up to 1.5m). The bank is faced with loose rubble (mainly small stones) and has a near vertical external face. On the E side a basal course of boulders is visible. Remains of a church (WI027-027001-) lie in the N of the interior which slopes gently down from W to E and is uneven. A graveyard (WI027-027003-) is indicated on the 1839 and 1910 editions of the OS maps but no gravemarkers are visible.
