One of a number of hut sites in a cluster on a steep S-facing slope below the stone rampart of the hillfort on Brusselstown Hill (WI027-018----), within the larger Spinans Hill hillfort complex (WI027-078001- / WI021-080001-). On a slight terrace on a steep SSW-facing slope. An oval hut site (int. diam. 7.5m NW-SE; 4.6m NE-SW) defined by moss and grass-covered boulders (Wth up to 1.6m) with a flat interior, sloping slightly to SW. Two field walls extend from the W quadrant, one towards NW and the other towards N. Some gorse is growing on the bank at NE. There is a possible entrance at SSW (Wth 1.6m). An adjacent hut site (WI027-019011-) lies 1m to the SSE. (Grogan No. 6, SMR file)
