A roughly oval level area (overall dims. 8m x 9m; int. diam. c. 5.5m N-S; 7.4m E-W) defined by boulders (some grass covered) except in the S quadrant where there is a slight denuded bank (H 0.13m; Wth c. 1m) with boulders on the outer face. There is a possible entrance (Wth 2m) at SE. The level interior is 0.4m below outer ground level at N and drops 0.46m to the exterior at S. There is a smaller circular platform (diam. 6m) adjoining it.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
