The National Monuments Service's description
A series of test trenches, opened in 2006 in advance of proposed development (Excavation Licence 06E0046), uncovered a curving ditch with frequent inclusions of cremated bone, a post-hole and a spread of burning at this location (Moriarty 2009, 570).
