Recorded by the Urban Survey (Bradley and King 1989, 71) as the ‘memorial stone of Ro Phelps 1679. This upright memorial (H 0.68m; Wth -.5m; D 0.1m) is in the graveyard (WI025-012004-)to the church (WI025-012003-). It is inscribed: HERE LIETH THE/ BODY OF PHELPS WHO/ DEPARTED THIS/ LIFE THE 15TH DAY OF JVNE 1679’.
