The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle S-facing slope overlooking the Vartry River. A nave and chancel church (WI025-001002-) of uncoursed rubble. No indication of a door or windows. Situated within a possibly earlier enclosure (diam. c. 45m) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 3m). This is enclosed by iron railings except at the S where it is cut by a modern fence. It is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a square enclosure and it contains a number of late eighteenth-century headstones.
