The National Monuments Service's description
National Monument in state ownership No. 134. Situated on flat ground adjacent to the Glenealo river at the E end of the Upper Lake. A small Latin cross, with both arms damaged, undecorated apart from circular hollows in the angles of the arms and shaft. (Leask 1950, 42, fig. 19c)
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
