The National Monuments Service's description
Unlocated cross, located 'W of Deer Stone' (WI023-011----). Described by Healy (1972, 97) as a ‘granite boulder dressed at the top to form a truncated cone. The diameter of the top face is 0.9m and the depth of the dressed portion is 0.2m. A piece has been split from one edge. This may have been intended as a cross base (similar to Fassaroe)’.
