The National Monuments Service's description

Location: Stone Store, Visitor Centre (30 August 2005). Bullaun stone, max 0.33m x 0.26m width x 0.13m thick. Stone has two basins one on either side linked by a perforation/hole. Hemispherical basin on one side side measures 0.14 diameter and 0.09m deep. Second basin with steep flatish sides measures 0.11m diameter and 0.07m in depth with flat base 0.055m diam. Base covered in mortar like substance. Diameter of associate of oval-shaped pebble 0.08m x 0.065m.
