The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle E-facing slope. Marked as 'Site of Creghorn Grave Yard' on the 1838 OS 6-inch map. The OS Letters (O'Flanagan 1928, 58) record a local tradition of a burial ground at this location and the discovery of human bone on site in the 1820s. Not visible at ground level and not remembered locally.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
