The National Monuments Service's description
A rectangular burial ground (dims. 20m x 15m) defined by iron railings containing three 19th-century headstones. According to the OS Name Book (Ballynure parish, no. 116, 4) there is a tombstone here, that of the late James Wall Esqre. of Knockrigg, dated 1791. The burial ground is described as a ‘very ancient grave yard’.
