The National Monuments Service's description

On a S facing slope, off the crest of an elevated ridge. There are panoramic views to the S, and Dunran Hill is visible to the NW. A large standing stone 2.4m high (on W side), 2.1m wide, and 46cm thick. The long axis is NW-SE. The stone is leaning quite heavily to the SW. There is a small area of exposed outcrop immediately to the S at the base of the stone.
