The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a gentle E-facing slope overlooking the steep edge of Hollywood Glen towards the E. Circular mound (diam. 15m; H 1.8m) defined by a kerb of small boulders along the S edge. The site is bisected by a field boundary; to the S of this it is considerably denuded.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
