The National Monuments Service's description
Listed as a 'burial' in the SMR (1986). A rectangular cist containing cremated bone found in the course of quarrying in the western part of the townland. The location marked in the SMR is speculative, as other than the reference to the "western"part of the townland (Price 1953, 203), no exact location is given.
