The National Monuments Service's description
Listed as a 'ringfort' in the SMR (1986) based on documentary evidence (OS Field Name Books 1838/40, 776) which mentions that there 'is a small defaced rath on the south boundary from which it is presumed the townland took its name'. Not located.
