The National Monuments Service's description
Two burnt mounds and associated troughs, pits and post-holes were excavated here in 2003, prior to the construction of the dual carriageway from the R671 to Greystones (Excavation Licence 03E1645 (Site L)). One of the troughs contained a fragment of a saddle quern (Molloy 2006, 547-8)
