The National Monuments Service's description
The Ordnance Survey Letters (1838-40) note 'In the lower part of Ballinstow townland are the remains of two circles of stones very close together' (see also WI012-041----) (O'Flanagan 1928, 81). These may be the same monuments as WI012-027---- and WI012-028----.
