The National Monuments Service's description
According to a report in the NMI (Cahill and Sikora 2011, Vol. 2, 524-6), a forest track cut through a 'cairn' at this location. Prehistoric pottery, worked flint and cremated bone were recovered from the site and brought to the NMI by Paddy Healy in 1979. The cremated remains represented one, possibly male, young adult.
