The National Monuments Service's description
A fulacht fia (WI008-053----), two hearths (WI008-050---- and WI008-051----) and a pit (WI008-052----) were uncovered here during archaeological monitoring in advance of the construction of the golf-course in 2000 (Excavation Licence 00E0398). The hearths and pit were fully excavated while only the western extent of the fulacht fia was excavated. (Gregory 2002, 362)
