Unlocated well in the townlands of Kilmacanoge North/South. According to Lynch (1994, 642) there is a holy well in the townland of Kilmacanoge that is mentioned in the 1930s Irish Folklore Commission, Schools Manuscript Collection (IFC S 946: 57). The folklore manuscripts recorded that a ‘holy well in the locality which was visited by the inhabitants until quite recently and kept neat and tidy by a local man who is now dead. The water of this well was taken for stomach troubles’ (Lynch 1994, 642).
