Unlocated well in the townland of Athdown. According to Lynch (1994, 645) there is a holy well known as ‘Tubbernaboneen’ in the townland of Athdown that is mentioned in the 1930s Irish Folklore Commission, Schools Manuscript Collection (IFC S 913: 129). The folklore recorded that ‘any person, how bad the attack of vomiting is, goes to Mrs Keogh and gets her to raise the water from the well, because she knows the prayer. Offerings left at well’ (Lynch 1994, 645).
