The National Monuments Service's description

Situated at the SE end of a small valley near a stream flowing northwestwards into the River Liffey. A cresentic-shaped mound (c. 10m x 5m; H c. 1m) opening to the W. (Information P. Walsh)

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
