The National Monuments Service's description
A tiled house, the property of Sir Nicholas Walshe of Ballykeeroge (WA023-035001-) in 1641 but then owned by the Earl of Cork, is recorded in the Civil Survey (1654-6) at Monatory (Simington 1942, 29). It remains unlocated, although it may have been at the field called An Caisleán (WA040-018----).
