The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a level landscape, c. 500m from sea cliffs to the S. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30m) defined by a low scarp (H 0.2-0.5m) in a field known locally as Gort a Leasa - the Lois field. A shallow dip in the scarp at N may indicate an entrance.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
