The National Monuments Service's description

Located towards the top of the S-facing slope of a W-E spur. A stone-built, L-shaped souterrain with large roof-slabs consisting of two passages set at right angles and connected by a creep was discovered in 1983 and was closed after recording. An area of collapse led into a SE-NW passage (L 5.5m plus; Wth 0.75m to 0.38m at NW; H c. 1.1m) with a creep (Wth 0.38m; H 0.67m; L c. 0.6m) at the NW which leads to a NE-SW passage (L 3.7m; Wth 0.45-0.5m; H 0.82-1.08m) that expands slightly at the SW. (Power et al. 1984; Power 1987)
